Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: April 19, 2026
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before enrolling in any services provided by Premier Driving Academy. By booking a service or creating an account, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Eligibility and Enrollment Requirements
To ensure the safety and readiness of our students, Premier Driving Academy maintains strict enrollment criteria:
- Permit Requirement: All prospective students must hold a valid learner's permit for a minimum of 30 days prior to enrolling in our behind-the-wheel driver's course.
- Proof of a valid permit must be presented to the instructor before any behind-the-wheel instruction begins. Failure to provide valid documentation will result in the cancellation of the lesson and potential forfeiture of fees.
2. Services Provided
Premier Driving Academy offers digital/online driver education courses and in-person behind-the-wheel (BTW) instruction.
3. Standard Behind-the-Wheel (BTW) Policies
- Physical Permit Required: Students must have their original, physical, valid learner's permit with them in the vehicle for every lesson. Photos, photocopies, or digital scans of the permit are not accepted by law enforcement and will not be accepted by the instructor. If the student does not have their physical permit at the time of the lesson, the lesson will be canceled and a no-show fee will apply.
- Appropriate Footwear and Attire: For safety reasons, students must wear appropriate closed-toe footwear during all driving lessons. Flip-flops, slides, high heels, heavy boots, or driving barefoot are strictly prohibited. Instructors will cancel the lesson if the student does not have proper footwear, resulting in a cancellation fee.
- Pick-Up and Drop-Off Limits: BTW training will begin and end at the predetermined location (e.g., home, school, or the driving academy). Any changes to the pick-up or drop-off location must be requested at least 24 hours in advance and must fall within our approved service radius.
- Instructor's Right to Terminate: The safety of the student, the instructor, and the public is our top priority. The instructor reserves the right to immediately terminate a driving lesson if the student exhibits reckless behavior, fails to follow instructions, appears excessively fatigued, or is suspected to be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or impairing medications. Under these circumstances, no refund will be issued.
Personal Vehicle Behind-the-Wheel Training
For students enrolled in our reduced-rate BTW training conducted in a personal/family vehicle, the following strict conditions apply:
- Vehicle Condition: The vehicle provided must be legally registered, fully insured, and in safe, fully functional mechanical condition. Instructors reserve the right to refuse training if the vehicle is deemed unsafe upon arrival.
- Insurance and Liability: The parent, guardian, or vehicle owner assumes full and sole financial and legal responsibility for the vehicle used. You must possess valid automobile insurance that covers the student driver while receiving instruction. Premier Driving Academy and its instructors assume no liability for physical damage to the vehicle, mechanical wear and tear, or liability claims arising from incidents that occur during the lesson. Your personal insurance policy will act as the primary coverage.
4. Online Course Access
Access to online coursework is provided for the individual enrolled student only. Account sharing, reproducing course materials, or distributing our proprietary curriculum is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of the account without a refund.
5. Virtual Live Class (Zoom) Requirements
To ensure all students receive the full educational benefit and meet necessary instructional hour requirements, the following rules apply to our weekly virtual classes:
- Punctuality: Students are expected to log in to the virtual classroom on time. To avoid disrupting the learning environment, students who attempt to join more than [Insert Number, e.g., 10 or 15] minutes late will not be admitted to the session and will be marked as absent.
- Mandatory Attendance: Attendance for scheduled live sessions is strictly recorded. If a student is absent, they must schedule a make-up session to receive credit for that module. ("Frequent unexcused absences may result in a rescheduling fee.")
- Active Participation & Visibility: To verify attendance and engagement, students must join from a device with a working camera and microphone. Cameras must remain turned on and the student's face must be visible for the entire duration of the class. Driving while attending a virtual class, sleeping, or stepping away from the camera for extended periods without permission will result in removal from the session and forfeiture of the class hours.
- Technical Responsibility: It is the student’s responsibility to ensure they have a stable internet connection and a functional device prior to the start of class. Technical difficulties on the student's end will not excuse missed time.
6. License Guarantee and Refund Policy
No Guarantee of Licensure: While Premier Driving Academy provides comprehensive and professional instruction designed to prepare students for safe driving, completion of our online courses or behind-the-wheel training does not guarantee that a student will successfully obtain a driver's license.
State Testing Requirement: All students must still independently pass the official written and/or road skills tests administered by the Mississippi Highway Patrol Driver Services.
Strict No-Refund Policy: Our fees compensate for the time, expertise, and educational materials provided by our instructors during the training process itself. Because we cannot control a student's performance during the official state examination, all purchases are final. No refunds will be given once a course or training package has been purchased, regardless of the student's test results at the Driver Services office.
7. Code of Conduct
Students are expected to behave respectfully and follow the instructor's directions at all times. Instructors reserve the right to terminate a lesson immediately if a student is acting recklessly, under the influence of any impairing substance, or creating a hazardous environment.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions and any separate agreements whereby we provide you services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Mississippi.
